DEH-P8600MP for $300 CND. Good deal? Can I do better?

So, a long store short. My car was broken into last week. They got my Alpine CDA-7897 and everything out of the trunk. I'm on a limited budget so I'm going to start with the HU (I guess I have to).

I can get a used DEH-P8600MP for $300CND. It still has 6 months of warranty left on it. There doesn't seem to be much of a selection of used or new stuff up in Canada. I'm afraid of being nailed with duty trying to buy from the states.

Does this seem like a good deal? Or should I just keep looking? I've been driving with no stereo for a week and I'm starting to go crazy talking to myself.

No doubt there are good deals in the states, eBay especially. But extra shipping and duty usually kill the deal. I think I'm going to jump on this.

300 CND is a good deal for new. For used, it's average. Depends how long you want to shop

duty comes to 42$ usually!! and for shipping, try to find a seller that doesnt charge alot ...usually its 40$USD but u can find less

try different things man, pioneer 880, mp3 880, pioneer mp3, just try different variations, good thing to know when searching on yahoo too

yeah i agree its good to spend a long time shopping for good deals, kinda sucks in his case tho not having a radio at all anymore, i'd be a little more eager to get one too
