Does anyone know if the audible beep that you hear when you turn the volume up or down can be disabled? I've read the manual and its not in there.

I have been thinking of picking up one of these head units. In the manual off the Pioneer site it says you can adjust the volume of the Auditory User Interface sounds which is what I'm guessing the beep is from. You can find it in the main menu under audio. This is a complete guess but it's worth a shot .

In the manual it's page 63.

Did that three times now. Got almost everything figured out. But if you have the random play feature on, if you manually select to to the next track, it goes to the next numerical track instead of the next random track. But if the song plays to the end it goes to the next random track. Odd!

Any ideas guys? I even called pioneer to ask them about the situation with the random not working properly and they didnt have any answers.

From everything I've seen, that's just the way some manufacturers do random. Pioneer is that way and Eclipse is that, while Kenwood and Alpine (at least the 9835) are not. Kinda sucks, I know.
