DEH-P590IB ipod questions

I just purchased the Pioneer DEH-P590IB and I love it. However I have a question about its search function with the ipod. When I'm listening to a song from a cd, can I go back into the songs from that particular cd? or do I have to start all the way over? Whenever I'm listening to a track, if I press list, it takes me all the way back to the front screen and I have to browse back through to get where i was at. For example:

I'm listening to a jazz song from a cd. Instead of letting me go back into the cd to see the other songs, it will take me back to the front page and I have to go to the genre, artist, album, then song....it's quite tedious when you have a large amount of songs.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

yeah thats just how it is. annoying i know but not that bad. just make playlists of what you like so you dont have to find a new song every time.
