I lost my remote today and I'm just wondering if I could get another one from Pioneer. I would call them up but they are closed until Monday. I'd also just look at their website but it requires a part number to find anything out, which I obviously don't have.

Remote is useless.. And yes.. Every model is compatible..

Explain to me how the remote is useless. I take it you don't actually own this HU and have no knowledge of it's interface with an iPod. It's quite nice to never have to touch the HU or iPod.

I guess I'll just wait till Monday and call them up. Hopefully they can get me the same remote I had.

For me its always easier to just touch the HU that to search for the remote,and then look at it,where is what button etc..

I had a Pioneer 5000 for 3 months,very easy to handle,run the whole music with a USB flash.. Dont really see the point of listening to music with I POD,when there are 10>GB usb flash discs.. Non the less i dont need more than 2GB so for me USB is perfect..

Again about the remote,some pople like it some people dont,but for sure u can get a new one,100%sure..

I had the remote memorized so it was very convenient for me. Plus, I lean when I drive so I'm usually just out of reach of the HU.
