Defective Rockford Fosgate Line Driver?

Hi,

So I installed a Rockford Fosgate RF-BLD I got from Sonic Electronix in my car. However it is having some really weird problems. Sometimes it will turn on and sometimes it won't. I checked my voltage coming into the amp and it was at about 13.8 with the car on, along with the remote wire being at a similar voltage.

Sometimes when I turn off the car and turn it back on, it will turn back on, then turn off again. However, after a while I could barely get it to turn on. I figured out if I pull the 3 pin connector off and then plug it in like halfway it would turn on. I also tried jumping my B+ wire to my rem. terminal just to ensure that wasn't the problem and it does the same thing. Does this sound defective, or is something wrong?

I have also the remote switch on IN.

There is a remote turn on wire, and a remote turn on option switch which says, "IN, OUT" allowing you to use the rem. wire as either a trigger wire (IN) or a switch wire with voltage going the other way through the wire so you can turn on an amp or something if your radio doesn't have a remote turn on wire (OUT).

I will post a video in a few of how weird this thing is acting. I ran it off a battery I had in my garage that sits at 12.6 with the voltage at the unit being the same, which I measured on a DMM. I originally had it in my car and it was having the same problem.
