Deck with pause and wired remote

....deck outside the car?
Rules in Street C state:

6-7d Podiums are prohibited. External “burp” buttons, mute buttons, or any other type of remote control, with the exception of the source unit’s remote control, is prohibited.

6-7e The source unit must be installed completely into the dash of the vehicle.

So no deck outside, If I am interpreting this correctly.

Old Sony ES H/Us used both a wireless and a wired remote, not to sure about the pause feature. My C780 doesn't have it. I did have a Clarion H/U that had the pause feature, it came in handy sometimes.

I was actually thinking about a Sony CDX-C90. I used to run one from 1998-2001 but cant remember about the pause. If anyone knows please chime in.
