You didn't really say what size you wanted and the amp or amount of wattage you are going to push it with.

I want a sub or subs that are from 300 too 600 W r.m.s.@ 2 ohms. And i want to used maybe 2-3^3ft. box. Sound quality to Spl ratio at about 40/60.

is the 2-3 total or per driver?? if it's per driver then i'd get 2 e12k's. if you can give 2 per then get 2 shiva's.

Alrighty, what do you guys think of an earthquake magma 12?? A little over the r.m.s. that i wanted but i could work with that.

Im a big fan of Earthquake subs. IMO you cant go wrong with a Magma.

Alpine Type R should do you in nicely. Very good SQ SPL sub, SQ as good as the 12o but more SPL. Box size would work, and they need at least 300WRMS to run them good, can handle 600-700WRMS with no problems. You can find them here http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/407 for $100 a peice.
