type r a sql sub??? umm thats totally not true. at least imo its not. they put out spl...if you put them in the right box. 2.5 cubes each ported and they'll love you. and theyre highly underrated as far as power handling goes.

yea i stuck with the type-r's im having problems making plans for a ported enclosure because of a brace in my trunk so i am unsure of howto get the right demensions for now so they are in a prefab box. I just kept the type-r's adjusted the gains and eq, etc. they sound great now i was parked next to a yellow caprice (bubble) it won at the dub car show, and i set its alarm off about 10 times lol everytime the owner of the shop would reset it i would set it off. So when i go ported and get another amp i am sure i will be very happy with these.
