Hello all...I currently have two amps in my possesion and I am only going to keep one of them. I have a Cerwin Vega Stealth 440.4 and a soundstream stealth stl4.500.
•Soundstream Stealth Series 4-Channel Class A/B Car Amplifier
•RMS Power Rating: ◦4 ohms: 80 watts x 4 chan.
◦2 ohms: 125 watts x 4 chan.
◦Bridged, 4 ohms: 250 watts x 2 chan.
•Full MOSFET Power Supply
•Double side PCB and SMD components
•LED power (green) and protect (red) indicators
•4-Channel operation
•Black anodized finish w/ chrome accents
•Active X-over function
•3-Way System Protection circuitry (thermal, overload, high/low voltage)
•Stackable chassis for multiple amplifier applications
•Heavy duty aluminum alloy heatsink for extreme heat dissipation
•Nickel-plated RCA level inputs
•Nickel-plated screw terminals
•RoHS compliant device
•Selectable high-pass filter (Front 50-4000 Hz, Rear 15-500 Hz)
•Selectable low-pass filter (Front 50-4000 Hz, Rear 50-800 Hz or 250-4000 Hz)
•Subsonic Filter (Front 50-4000 Hz, Rear 15-500 Hz)
•Bass boost frequency: 50 Hz
•Bass boost level: 0, 6, 12 dB
•Signal-to-noise ratio: >100 dB
•THD (Total harmonic distortion): 0.05%
•Damping factor: >200
•Frequency response: 15-25,000 Hz
•Dimensions: 11-1/4"L x 6-1/2"W x 2-1/8"H
CERWIN VEGA AMP
•Stealth Series 4-Channel Class D Car Amplifier
•RMS Power Rating: ◦4 ohms: 65 watts x 4 chan.
◦2 ohms: 110 watts x 4 chan.
◦Bridged, 4 ohms: 220 watts x 2 chan.
•RMS Total Output: 440 Watts
•Full Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) MOSFET Power supply
•LED power and protection indicators with built in overload protection
•Vega Bass adjustment (0-12 dB bass boost)
•Crossover selection switch allows you to adjust the crossover point
•Input gain adjustment allows for more precise adjustments
•RCA Input and pass-thru output allow for normal RCA left and right channel signal input
•Aluminum alloy casing great for fast heat dissipation
•Power input connections
•Standard ATC/ATO automotive 25A power fuses
•Silver-plated RCA level inputs
•Silver-plated screw terminals
•Variable high-pass filter (50-250 Hz)
•Variable low-pass filter (50-250 Hz)
•Frequency response: 20-30,000 Hz
•Dimensions: 9-7/16"L x 7"W x 1-7/8"H
I plan to run the amp in 3 ch mode to kenwood components that are 80w RMS and bridge the rears to an 8" jbl gto sub. I know both has enough power for the sub, but will a 15w difference on the components make it any difference? Which would you keep and why? Thanks
