It is possible that he will be without power for over 3 months. I just saw on the news that the water could still rise another 9 feet:crap: A lot of New Orleans is now in my backyard lol. My town is usually about 100,000 people, but right now it is more like 300,000. The population of Baton Rouge is also expected to double.

I was also wondering about NegativeEffect. He lives in Houma, which is just off of the coast and right underneath New Orleans. That idiot said that he was going to stick it out:crazy:

It's horrible what happened.. I hope we dont get anymore storms like that this year. I have heard that this is supposed to be the most active hurricane season in the bast century.

Hurricanes are on a roughly 60-year cycle, when the amount of storms peak. We're right around the peak...

There could very well be another this year.

hey guys im from new orleansbut im not therel..i left...if ne one stayed...ther either scrwed...or dead or cant go ne where....ive never seen ne thing like this...20 billion in damage...i wont go back to school till dec...at earliesst...so pray for the victims because this is guna keep geetin worse n worse..the levees broke and the city will keep getin worse with the flooding..
