deciding on these two amps

If you live in Canada and want an affordable amp at retail prices why don't you look at a Kenwood KAC8152 or KAC9102 (550 and 850 watts RMS) prices for those run around 300 for the 8152 and 400 for the 9102, dealer cost is 210 for the 8152 and 289 for the 9102.

Best buy was supoosed to carry the 9102 but refused it because it sold for so much less then the RF 601 and put out more power.

600 to 650 bucks for 600 watts RMS

OR

300 to 400 bucks for 550 to 850 watts RMS

the thing is that im getting this as a gift...so price doesnt really matter

The JBL has the ability to run at one ohm while the Kenwood cannot, otherwise they are the same in quality.

At my old shop we ran 8 12" Kenwood 3009's off of a KAC-9102 with no problems, it had more than enough power to slam all 8.

If you need 1ohm stability just move up to the 9152-

These have an excellent retail price compared to the other manufactureres sold in Canada, great bang for the buck.

my car is screwed up...well the shocks...i used to have two 10s in the trunk. and it lowered the back of the car...it looked stupid...it was a 99 corolla..i wuold have to replace the shocks if anything..i dont wanna spend money for that..i would love two 12w3 though

the w6 will do 400watts and the 2 12w3s=5oo watts so yes that amp will work beter and more spl and get the 2ohm dvc subs to get the 2 ohms

Its running at 3Ohms right now..was running at 4 earlier...have yet to run it at 2 b/c of sub VC configs thats impossible right now

but for now ill get one 12w3 since i dont ahve enough cash
