Deciding on a sub..

I am looking for a good sub to compliment my JL XR components, and I would like to spend about 250 USD max., although if I could get away with spending less that would be beneficial, however i would sacrifice some extra money if it was worth the extra quality of the sub.

So far I was considering Alpine type R or JL 12w3v2 on the lower end, or a type X or jl 12w6v2.... Any opinions or alternate suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

JL 12w6v2 for sure. That would be an excellent SQ setup that could actually get decently loud.
