Debating between subs to buy

I have a 98 Chevy k1500 pickup with ext cab and will be putting the sub under the rear seat. Anyways, i have a mtx 1501d amp so power is not going to be an issue at all for my set up. I listen to mostly all rock. I am looking for some great sq and still having the some output. Anyways here are some of the options i am debating between.

2- Infinity Perfect 10.1 (Sealed box...downfiring, just because of the deal at crutchfield)

2- AA Assasians 10s sealed box downfiring

1- AA Arsenal 10 Ported

1- RL-i 10 ported

1- Fi SSD 10 ported

1- TC 1000 10 ported (little deep though)

Those are pretty much all the ones i was looking into. I have been doing my research and will be biying soon. I am sure with any of the set ups listed i will more than happy. Also, with the infinitys, the deal at crutchfield is decent thats why i threw that in there as well. Also, all the single 10 ported set ups could also go sealed if needed. All fit within my budget above. Thanks for the help

check out the new TC db-500's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Those look nice, but similar to the tc 1000s it is alittle deep. I am going to be putting it in that downfiring box and the depth is an issue....did tc just come out with that or something, i havent seem alot on those. Thanks

IDQ 10" thats what I plan on getting.....I would follow that up with the rl-i and I have owned 10.1 and 12.1 kappa perfects and those sound nice also so those would get third....

yea the idqs are nice as well.......my main question was which set up would be the best when you are compairing 2 sealed subs to one ported 10??? Thanks

I would say if were comparing the same subwoofer 2 sealed vs. 1 ported the 2 sealed would be louder. This will not always be the case though just depends on the subwoofer. And aslo sealed usually gives you better SQ but I have heard of using ported boxes in a SQ application with a low tunning frequency.

i got ya...well it wouldnt neccesarly be the same sub being compaired in a seal and ported application, but it would be the different types of subs sealed compaired to another sub in ported......

Tc db500

I spoke to heather at tc sounds just the other day, and she said the reason there at that price is because they have overstock of it, and as soon as they sell out will be going up in price. She also said its similar to the tc2+ which I currently have a 12 in, and its a GREAT SQ sub, and gets loud as well. If you looking for great low end, and low distortion, you will not be disappointed.

P.S. The woofers break in after a week or so, and thats when you'l' really hear its true potential
