This is for Kerry Supporters.
Let me know if I understand you all correctly.
You believe Bush is leading us down the wrong path because:
1.You believe there was no reason to go into Iraq.
2.Bush will bring back the draft
3.Bush is against complete socialism to some degree
4.Bush ran a deficit
5.You believe Bush caused the recession
6.Because certain members of the EU don't like us.
7.Because Bush doesn't federally fund stem cell research
8.Because Bush is against gay marriage
9.Because Bush doesn't speak well
10. Because Bush allows outsourcing to go on
If again you want to use vague generalizations...but...
1. We were MISLEAD into going to war with iraq...
"Let's get this straight right now: the war in Iraq has NOTHING TO DO with the war on terror. al-Qaeda is unrelated to Saddam Hussein. The destruction of downtown Manhattan and the lost lives of thousands of New Yorkers are unconnected with any persons, groups, or events that have transpired in Iraq. Simply stated, these are two different issues."
2. I don't necessarily think the draft will be put in place, but if it was...it'd be ridiculous.
3. Complete socialism isn't the solution. IMO
4. Bush did run a defecit, EVERY single year in office. There's no possible way to debate this, and to me...there no a justifiable excuse, cuz that's all it is, an EXCUSE. Re-read the 6th page again.
-Evidence of surplus presented to Bush, then deficit made by Bush:
http://www.iht.com/articles/109911.html
5. Bush himself didn't make the recession, but the decisions he made along with pre-war time accelerated a recession.
6. All countries are not going to like us ALL the time. Need to find a happy medium, and not totally defy knowledge/suggestions of our allies. There's no need to intentionally piss ALL allies off.
7. I couldn't care less if he funded stem cell research. BUT, he should not condemn it. Fertility clinics throw away thousands of egg/sperm/embryos a day, instead of throwing them in the trash...try to benefit from research.
8. Why must a president, along with other people FORCE their opinions and beliefs (especially when they're based on THEIR religion) on other people. A LAW against it is RIDICULOUS. Others pointed out, they invent a new word for it b/c of the actual literal definition of marriage. That's fine with me. If you don't like homosexuals, you are well w/in your rights not to like them. It's not the government's right to discriminate or make laws against tht group tho. (I'd rather the government discriminates against hate groups, such as KKK and such. BUT, they are w/ in their first ammendment rights i guess also.)
9. Can't dispute this, he is not an intelligent man. I think he needs to take some night classes at a local community college and brush up on his enlish/speech skills. I took a speech class in high school, they're offered in college. So, maybe he should seek to improve his communication skills, since communication is the key to everything.
10. I'm not an expert on economic theories or outsourcing. But, the rate at which outsourcing is occuring is rediculous. Companies should not be encouraged to outsource.
This is my view on you vague generalizations...feel free to ask ANY other kerry supporter, and i'm sure they will be different. peace
