Death Penatly SQ

I havent heard the XXXs YET, but now that i have my death penalty plugged to 32 hz in 4 cubes, it seems to sound pretty similar to my RE SE when i had it in 2 cubes tuned to 32.

For The Most Part The Smaller The Sub The Better The Sq But U Dont Get As Much Voulume. Thats Why I Think Two Tens Is The Way To Go

If by better SQ you mean less authority at the lowest freq's, Id agree. But only because SQ is so subjective. But based on a more popular definition of SQ, Id say what you said is an old wives tale, completely false. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ahh, I very much so doubt the XXX is louder then the DP!! The DP is loud, no way around it, put in the porper enclosure and properly powered (2k+) the DP will out do the XXX in SPL. For SPL I put my money on the DP but for SQ I would go with the XXX. If installed right both will sound great and the DP is also cheaper then the XXX so I would go DP but that is me, and these are my opinions...

Trust us...DP's are the way to go for a decent SQL setup. The motors and suspensions on these things are incredible at keeping erratic cone movment under control. The DP has wonderful SQ for being able to get as loud as it can. Definitely better than a XXX IMHO. But thats just me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

Yea I know im kinda late on this thread :p.

The death penaltys have taken 16000 watt burps before. Im currently sending mine 1100wrms and id like to up that to somewhere around 1500+ daily.
16000 watt burp? got a site or link or somethin, id love to see pics.

also i read on ur site, ur 1 15 did 145 outlaw. outlaw how? like i mean some ppl say outlaw wit door open, if so wich door. i think of outlaw as in port. idk y but thats what most local comps call it, lol. also did u have the daily tuned box? and only 1100 watts for that? and the new TL? or an audiocontrol?

sorry for so many questions. i wanna hit 155 wit 2 15's. tryin to find subs to take me there. n 155 on the new audiocontrol, becaus ei dont think they have TL mics at the local shows i go to.

I doubt there is a link or site but me and Nick are good friends as we live in the same neighborhood. To test their durability he himself has burped them with 16000 watts. Josh even tried pluggin one into a wall outlet. It lasted for 5 minutes before the voice coil gave up.

On the new mic that will be hard but you might be able to do it on the AC. Bumpin' Yoda ran 2 DP 15's off 4 Zapco 9.0's and was only hitting in the 152 range but that was on the new mic. AC's are a little lower so, if you power them right and give them both about 4.5 cub's tuned nice and high you just might be able to hit that. I know my goal is a single 15 doing 150. I don't think I can get it on the new mic but maybe the old one or a ac or somthing. Anywho, good luck with trying to reach 155...

What does pluggin a sub into a wall outlet do
