I got one for that reason, and just for the fun of trying something different. Should be interesting. Hate trying to guess at box size/tuning/orientation when your building a box that big though. I don't see alot of test builds happening when the boxes will be around 8.5 cubes

whats the effective cone area on it? and how does this work "CILD - Center Interlocking Dustcap Design for Easy Field Recones"and are they ready to ship??

1620 cm^2 is the SD.

CILD is a poly disc that helps you align the dustcap perfectly in the center of the cone.

If a person was going to try 3k daily and for bassrace on one, would you recommend 8.5 cubes or should a person go smaller? I was just plannin on shooting for the middle of the recommended range. And if a person gets stupid, how much are recones?
