I just received these clamps today. The came well packed with bubble wrap around each clamp. The quality of the clamps is actually better than what I expected. For the price, I thought I would be getting a clamp with a thinner steal bar and cheap handle. The bar is just as thick as the Bessey bars and the handle is also just as big as the Bessey medium duty clamps. I had read a review regarding the steel face on the clamp not being smooth. Each clamp has a thick rubber pad on the head of the clamp. After removing the pad, The face is not machined to be perfectly smooth, but it is flat and I don't see how it would damage your project more than a Bessey clamp would if you applied too much pressure wihtout a wood shim. I am overall satisfied with these clamps and would buy more.

cool i havent bought anything from amazon in years, glad i could help find a deal for the car audio crowd
