no. i know my sytem rapes urs and i am completely fine. my ipod blasting for an hour at the gym hurts my hearing MUCH more. high frequencies **** ur ears and lows well, no nearly as much.

I just meant that lower freq don't have much effect on hearing loss, so he must have loud highs because higher frequencies tend to mess up the little hairs in your ears that let you hear well.

I recently sat in Oki's SQ ride that sits around 156 musically, its hard to breathe but not to hear when you get out of it

well the highs never really get over 125db most system (that's already **** loud) and the bass doesn't seems to affect my hearing at all... never had ringing ears from bass... dunno
