Deaf Bonce db418 or PSI Platform 4 18???

I am looking to do a new setup for my car, i want an 18inch woofer with 3,000rms.

I was pretty heart set on the PSI Platform 4 18inch subwoofer, but i saw the deaf bonce db418 and now im trying to decide which is better.

If there is another 3,000watt 18inch woofer that is better than either of these and under $1,000 please feel free to mention it.

Why? Explain your list please.

Sundown Nightshade is awesome, but i think its no better than the Psi plat 4 18, unless you can tell me why it is. They seem to be almost exactly the same, except for price.

SSA Evil is awesome, great on a budget. According to the maths though, its not as good as the PSI 18.

I cant even consider FU Audio because theres very little information on there subwoofers, no specs. 51lbs while the psi and deafbonce are over 90lbs, thats either amazingly lightweight or worry some.

I really like that the deafbonce has a 4inch voice coil.

So please can you explain your list? what am i missing here?

that level 4 is a mean mofo. for the money it looks awesome i just wonder what the LE curves and BL curves look like..

I love my sundown nightshades. They handle 3k plus daily. Nsv3 will have the most linear excursion. The motor is deeeep. The coil is 3" long.

DeafBonce has a 4inch long coil though, and the PSI 18 also has a 40mm excursion. Nightshade does have a higher excursion than deafbonce though. I would be more inclined to consider the nightshade if it has any specs on there site.

So if i got a NSV3 18 and a Soundstream T1.6000DL, ina pretty standard ported box at about 8-9 cubes, tuned around 30-35hz i should be pretty good? What do you think i would be hitting with that? I know at least 150db, assuming i build it right lol, my current four 12's are hitting a little over 145.

What vehicle... You might do a 150db... A single woofer in a vehicle is kinda hard to do 150+... I'd rather have 4 12s then 1 18"
