well here it shows that dynamat melts at a low temperature too so im guessing stick away from that and fatmat since they both did melt at lower temperatures?

Straight from the SecondSkin website:

That is all taken from the thermal benifits page.

Those benifits are for heat only.

The benifits change greatly when vibration damping is the issue.

In laymens terms, the foil stablized the butyl and allows the butyl to absorb vibrations and convert them in to heat. With out the foil there is no energy conversion. without the conversion you are only adding weight.

Adding weight can help, and has its place but is only a very small part of the puzzle.

haha this stuff is for rubber roofs man its not asphalt based so it dont melt trust me it gets hotter than hell up on the roof maybe I'll send out some samples

Havn't we already been down this road 3000 times in the last 5 years?

I trust that you beleive that it gets hot on roofs.

But when the product is placed in the shade of roofing tiles it is not seeing the same heat that it sees when it is applied on black painted sheet metal that is sitting in a parking lot all day long..

u odviously dont know n e thing about roofing... this shit has nothing to do or even applicable with roofing tiles and or shingles, its for Flat membrane roofs, and is exposed at all times so i dont know what the hell yer talking about........... F*ck this, im done
