ive never deadend anything on my car before but now that im trying to put a decent setup together i figure i will prob need to now. What is the cheapest way of doing this id rather not use liquid more lookin for self adehsive. I was looking at the edeadv1 on their website but i dont know if theres better or if that will work im not going over board with it just looking to make my sound a lil better.

ya i see the many threads on them but they get so full of cluster and thread dumping and people just talking about random subjects that its hard to get much usefull info

craigslist/ebay RAAMat and Dynamat

bought a door kit of Dynamat Xtreme for $60 shipped (ebay)

bought 2 rolls of RAAMat BXT, non hardening clay, and some pads for behind my 6.5's for $70 (craigslist)

between the 2 I had enough for both doors and havnt touched the 2nd roll of RAAMat BXT, still have enough to do my trunk :)

Just did it a few weekends ago, first time as well, very easy as was hooking up my amp and whatnot... its all really simple IMO, just intimidating until you get in there and start tearing stuff apart

Forget any eD deadener products, so worthless. I'd pass on Dynamat and Dynamat Xtreme because they are too expensive and there are other products with better or similar quality at a cheaper price.

Rammaat is pretty good, it's my 2nd choice. I find it to be too tacky which can be a pain if you need to remove it immediately to relocate the piece. Price wise it's great.

My first choice goes to Second Skin. Either the Damplifier and Damplifier Pro will do you good. Damplifier (not the pro) is the thicker than Dynamat Xtreme and Rammaat. Both the regular and pro version allow you to lay the deadener and remove if necessary and it's not too tacky. If you're worried about it sticking, don't. Once on, it's there and won't come off. I've driven in 110 degree weather and had no problems with any leaking or whatever. It is a little more expensive than Rammmaat, but I'd say it's worth it.
