Deadning my camaro

i am looking to put some sound deadner in my camaro to make it sound better and stop the rattleing. im looking into dynamat but it is expensive, is it really worth it????

i was looking to put a layer down over my whole car, maybe double up on the trunk. then i wanted to put some kinda of spray on the deadner.

i dont know if edead spray is any good. i heard of Spectrum and Spectrum Sludge but dont know the diffrence bewteen them.

will a layer of dynamat and a spray deadner be good or would i need more??? also should i get something besides dynamat and what kinda of spray deadner should i get???

ive heard raamat is good if your on a budget. the spray on stuff by second skin works well ive heard also. ive heard some bad things about edead though, might want to use the others instead.

IIRC edead is real close to the peal and seal roofing that you get from Lowes. ETA: I used peal and seal to deaden the floor of the trunk in my Civic and will NEVER use it again unless I am working on a gutter or metal roof! The asphalt smell is STILL THERE and I did this three months ago!

As for the Camaro, if you have an SS with a Magnaflow exhaust, good luck drowning out that exhaust noise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif A buddy of mine had an SS with two 12" subs in it where the back seats used to be and even at full tilt, you could still hear the drone of his exhaust over the sound system when he took off like a bat out of hell! I can even hear my Mustang's Borla Stingers over the sound system at lower volumes.

or what if i just skipped the dynamat and put 2 layers of spray on???? what would be better?

Yea I advise not using edead I have had problems with it in the past also. I use raammat currently and have zero complaints, it is a great product with a good price.
