I remember seeing something someone said about some stuff you can buy at Lowes or some hardware store. It was pretty cheap. Anybody know what this was called?
And leave a horrible tarry mess for you to clean up...
Buy the right (read "right" as butyl-rubber based) kind of product, like what Justin recommended. Dynamat Xtreme (the regular is asphalt based), RAAMmat, or SS products are all solid.
i live in dallas and about 6 months ago i decided to do my trunklid with p@s. so i finally order some butyl based edead and now i cant get the p@s off.
my advice is do it right the first time.
btw you can get 20% off of edeads sound deadners. but get the butyl based one instead of the asphault based.
I put some peel and seal in my driverside door. it fell off and reattached itself to my window when I had it rolled down. It left a brownish streak when I put the window back up (some of which is still on there).
I lined my trunk with that stuff and I havent had a problem back there.
