yes, i used the search and found it helpful. nonetheless before i make a purchase today i want some opinions. i'm stuck between 50sq of brown bread for $105 or 120sq of edead v1.0 for $100. same price for a little over double the area. i plan on using it solely for my trunk and rear deck and of course if i get the edead i'd multilayer it. anyone have experiences with both? multi-layered edead vs single layered brown bread basically. bquiet xtreme was described as similar to brown bread and yet it's so cheap...

i think i'm gonna buy 100sqft of fatmat for my trunk cuz it's thicker and heavier and comes with the roller and cutter. if i'm happy with it i'll probably buy some edead and do my interior (cuz you get a lil more for the price and the interior isnt so bad)

with deadeners a third the price of dynamat, why be a bum and get something smelly

out of all the brands mentioned so far the best are as follows (in this order)

Dynamat extreme 1.7 mm thick 300 heat tolerance

Brown Bread 1.51 mm thick 293 heat tolerance

Edead 44 mils thick 200 heat tolerance

Fatmat 45 mils thick 180 heat tolerace

Peel and seal 40 mils thick 150 heat tolerance

I was told not to put peel and seal in ny car, but i did it anyway and it works fine. It doesn't smell at all, and it holds fine. You're going to need an extra layer or two on everything, but its still a lot cheaper.
