Dead CPU?

Ok well I figured out what was wrong with my router and got everything straightened out, then my computer decides to take a shiit. Ok, well a few weeks ago I bought a new motherboard and went to install it. When I got it all hooked up, I went to power it on, and no signal to the monitor, no beeps, but everything seemed to power up normally. The cpu fan, psu fan and Mobo lights came on though. So, I then hooked my old motherboard up and the same thing happened. I then proceeded to start with troubleshooting. Everything is seated how it should be, and connected properly. I have tried 2 different video cards, onboard video on both mobos, different ram in both mobos, different psu, different hard drive, everything. The only thing I cannot replace is the CPU, so I am guessing that is what is wrong, but I would rather not drop 150 bones on a new cpu if its not even going to fix the problem. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try?

What board and what proc?

My guess without looking at it is you did not plug the "other" power cable to the board. It should be like a 20ish pin connector and another 4 pin connector. It might be 6 pins, but more times than often 4. Plug that in and it should boot to the screen. I have never seen a processor go bad, not to say it can't happen.

It's either that or the memory. I think the memory gives you beeps if the speaker is hooked up correctly.

for mine..one time i forgot to hook up a 4 pin connector to my video card and once i did that the monitor worked..i personally dont think it could be your cpu..however i cant tell when im not there lookin at and troubleshootin it lol

You put the CPU in upside down.

Ok, come on guys. Give me some credit. I am not a complete moron. CPU is an e7200, mobos are both gigabytes, i dont have the model numbers at the moment. Both are compatible with the CPU, I know that. The CPU is the ONLY thing I dont have 2 of, so I cant swap it out. Everything else I have replaced with KNOWN working components, and nothing.

Ram will usually do 1 long beep over and over again.Check the PSU rail voltages.

Try booting the board with only the motherboard ram and CPU.
Yes, the speaker is working properly, I put in dead ram and got the beeps signaling a memory error. Other than when I put something in that is bad, or wrong, I dont get any beeps at all.

AIM me if you need more help but you may have the wrong kind of ram there are tons of different ones out there. I have came accost this problem a few times and though it was the motherboard but it was rely the ram.

I know 100% it is NOT the RAM. I had this computer running with the original motherboard, but when I put in the new mobo it didnt work. I hooked up the old motherboard, and it didnt work either. EVERYTHING I have tested with are either brand new, or worked in a previous machine(Ram, psu, hard drive, motherboard, video card, monitor), except for the CPU which is the only thing I do not have a way of testing.

Is there power plugged into that 4 or 6 pin connector located on the board near the CPU? That's all I'm asking.
Yes, like I said, I am not a complete moron. I know how to hook computers up, and I have looked over the connections 107,352,254 times and they are all correct.
