Actually the punch and move style was taught to him by his father. Its a classic Mayweather style. It seems to work very well too. I believe Mohammed Ali did the same thing. You might want to familiarize yourself with the sport a bit.

Leaning back on the ropes with your glove against your face is no "punch and move". He shouldn't have even been considered being awarded rounds for that. If Oscar hadn't pressed, you would have just had FM's *** leaning on the ropes by himself. Christ, we may as well have been watching a Chris Byrd fight.

I just called Scientific Atlanta and they informed me they have no control over firmware updates and that the update must have been sent by Comcast for that reason. I'm back on the phone with Comcast now. I'm not really sure what I want to be compensated here, but I don't feel I need to spend 2 hours of my time on hold with no explanation whatsoever as to what was going on with the fight. What is 2 hours of my time worth? What is it worth when there's one of the biggest sporting events of the year on TV? I find it rediculous that Comcast has not gone above and beyond a simple refund in this situation, and at least offered SOMETHING to their customers. All they are doing is blaming it on someone else while they are quite obviously at fault.

Edit - Just curious, what would ABC do if something like this happened during the Super Bowl?

Actually he didn't lean on the ropes for the most part since that was the only way Oscar could land a punch. Toward the end he did it to ridicule Oscar's fighting style. Mayweather stayed in the middle of the ring to give himself freedom to stick and move. Oscar pushed him to the corners to trap him. It didn't work, Mayweather still won. There was a fight there, but as the announcers were saying, Oscar throwing more punches was doing nothing but hyping the crowd up. None of them hurt, and very few even landed. Mayweather fought him with skill.

Probably nothing since its off-air broadcast. (free)

yea u should call up tommorrow and ask for credits, if u say u want to disconnect they will send u to another dep. that will try to convince u to stay by giving u offers and stuff.......but u have to remember its not the person on the other end of the phones fault, they just have to deal with customers, thats what sucked, people would call and bitch and we would have to take it calmly, i mean i under cuz i get pissed too when shit like that happens but u have to remember its not the person on the other ends fault that ur speaking with...its the shity company they work for

I completely understand it's not the service rep's fault....what really pisses me off is when I ask to speak with someone above the supervisor level or for the contact information to the corporate office and nobody can tell me anything. Then I have to play phone tag with 7 different service reps and supervisors until someone finally cracks. If you can't tell me, put me in touch with someone who can. If nobody can, there's obviously something wrong there. It's rediculous.

yea but most of the time your not suppose to transfer at all, if you do w/o trying to solve the problem they will write them up for free transfering, even if the cust asked...dumb rules....sux cuz there are some things that the reps have no idea how to handle and when a cust asks and they dont know they dont want to sit there and waste time on the phone trying to figure out what the prob is when all they have to do is ***** to someone who can help the cust quickly ya kno...but rules are rules and they record EVERY call

at every call center i've worked at, the cust service reps dont have the corporate number. and if they do they are not allowed to give it out.

i would think they dont want the cust to have it so they dont get a bazillion calls about complaints, they told us to offer the email address instead...
