DD9500 1 x 12 or 2 x 10s

Hi guys,

decided to get back into Subs again after a 10 year break, and to jump in the deep end.

Ok here goes.

Looking a getting either 2 x DD9510 or 1 x DD9512 power is not an issue.

2 x Optima batteries, and a DD M4 (5000wrms at 1ohm).

Space is a bit of an issue, so whats better 2 tens or 1 twelve?

Well generally speaking, the two 10's would have more output potential thana single 12, but Im not sure if 2500 watts per would be sufficient. Since you are just getting back into this, might want to start with a single sub setup and try maximizing its potential before moving on to a slightly more complicated multi-driver install.

I would invest in other batteries if you plan on running 5k watts.
