Too many variable to depict which subwoofer would outperform which. Different spider size therefore different suspension tolerances. In the end it could all come done to which is more efficient. Personally I like 2.5" coil subs, I like knowing I have that much more control over the cone due to a bigger spider. Then again it also comes down to the proper spider/coil/cone combo. I've seen numerous T3 2.5" coil subs fall on their face.
