Ok guys I was gona just settle for a Rub1.1600D but I can get a tarantula 2000w amp for like 10$ more. So Im thinking that I will get it ut am seriously concerned about blowing the sa-12's. Now I have read ppl running 1000w through these subs before and have seen youtube videos with ppl doing it. But none the less I am concerned.

Now I have also read numerous times ho to tune your sub n amp. I have read tutorials on a few site and they prety much all say the same thing. But I am still nervous ol. So here we go. How would I go about runing 1000w to each of these sub? 1ohm load but how do I avoid blowing the subs? Im not to worried about me yself popping them, but the ol lady more than anything. She will jusmp in the ride and just crank t up even if I tell her not to... Thanks uys for any advice you can offer me.

the rubi is a nicer amp and u will be fine on the sa10"...
Well the Rub was my original choice but I was under the impression the tarantula series was higher end than the Rub series. Either way I do feel more comfortable with the Rub but I also like knowing that I can upgrade my subs when I feel like it knowing I have headroom with the Tarantula amp you know what I mean. To be honest I dont really think she will blast it at full volume if I tell her not to and I have a very good understanding on setting gains. But I am still cautious as I do not want to blow anything, and I only want her to blow one thing... not my subs though lol.

I have beat the **** out of an SA12 daily for months with a MB Quart DSC1500.1. Only got smelly a couple of times. Well built.

Right I have seen videos of SA-12 getting 1000+ just fine. I think I will get the 2000w Tarantula and set my gains a bit low just to be safe. When I get in the ride if I truly feel like its needed (doubtful lol) I will set it up a pinch. Thanks guys

I get it. I'd never run a tone through at full tilt to test just how much they can take before it goes all willie nelson either 🤣

Mine connected just fine, but I liked the onboard menu better and deleted the app.

Very true statement here. Can also possibly damage the subs if not used properly, and may even cook an amplifier in the process possibly. It may be...
