dd2510 vs sa 10

haha.. man i barely remember. I do remember a ****** yellow rx-7.. didnt it pour like hell right after everyone gotint here and got their rides cleaned up?

no i havent, obviously...
but when ive seen a few people who owned DD subs, say they sound hollow, have this weird sound to them that they have never heard from any other sub before, thats enough for me to not want to try them. maybe they do, maybe they dont, i dont really care but they dont spike my interest
they must be idiots....or don't have their boxes right....I know DD's inside and out...and I can make them all sound good....but its all in the box....but thats the downfall of most subs is improper box size and tuning

yeah that was it I was in my CRX ...my friend was there in a Red Dakota extended cab.....I don't remember if my CRX was primered or satin blue then....I know I stocked up on red bulls from the red bull rep there....freebies that lasted for months lol
Let me dig up pics later, I may actually have some of your crx...I used to help with that show as well.

thats cool..I was running 4 Earthquake 10,000ds.....at that show...they were stolen about a month later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
You should be glad they were not stolen at the show. I loved that show, but hated that location. I always felt like something bad was going to happen. ****** fairly bad.

I did photography back then and I was judging car show as well. I helped with USACi, but not all that much.

yeah....i ended up staying at some Crackhouse motel south of town...I was worried about my car all night...everything was booked in town
haha.. ya i got a pretty good story. me and my buddy went he had i think a scion xb. We stopped at some cheapass motel and my door didnt lock, my tv was duck taped to the stand. some indian guy was running the place and we went in to pay and you could see he had the door open and the office was connected to their house and int he living room he had a beach towel laid out with about a 4' tall stack of peanuts on it. and we were like wtf. and there was a possum running around in the parking lot and drug deals going down next door so we just went to la quinta and split a room. lol

little rock is a pretty crappy town.. i ahve never seen a "good" part of town. especially by the alltell arena. i have been there for a few events and its pretty rough

twisted was one of them and he deff knows what he is doing...

Box, port location, and location in the car is very important in the lower line DD stuff. A very large port will make them sound real odd also.

We see a lot of Sundown at the shows around here, but they are located in Charlotte so there are lots in the area that have it. in our county there is maybe two sets and a few of the amps.

Just because a box looks good doesn't mean its gonna sound good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
all the goodones look like **** .. lol. im tryin to get some good sound out of mine. we shall see soon

DD makes a fine product -- but I'll put it this was for 2500 vs. SA -- two of our dealers pretty much won't sell 2500s now that they have the SA line. These are just the ones that called me an mentioned this comparison specifically.

This doesn't make the 2500 a bad woofer but it seems when given both to choose from people are choosing the SA.

Also -- the drivers have a very different sound to them -- so some folks may prefer one or the other for that reason.

My dealers report that they feel the SA is more rugged with more bottom end -- and it is less expensive.

Yeah.....that was a while back.....specifically i was getting that impression from the F series a lot.....almost every F series set-up i had heard including mine gave me that impression.....but i will say the 2500 and 3500 series sounded GREAT from my own testing and from other set-ups i heard.....with the 95Z series sounding the best out of all of them.....now i will say from my own experiences that Sa and 2500 series are very comparable! Can't go wrong with either choice!
