DD1508 vs. W7 SQ.

Not sure how many have done this. I got the DD at a great price with carbon fiber dust cap. My W7 is about 4 years old. I am a bit worried about losing SQ but I do plan on tuning the DD1508 at about 36hz. I have to cut my box to fit the DD meaning the W7 probably wont go back in. I am taking the plunge this weekend. Thanks for any feedback. I will be putting the DD on a 1000/1 in a box ! 1.15 cubic feet (little big i know).

I got a 33hz tune on it right now.. and two aero ports on the way so I can try 36hz and 38hz. I just know im stuck with this sub if I cut the box bigger for it. I don't want to go through a box rebuild again. It was hell finding matching fabric.

It's worth trying a lower tuning. All you have to do is extend your aero ports a little.
