DD1508 vs. 8W7 Pic.

really? have you used both??
and kudos for taking me 100% seriously //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
no I haven't used both but I have heard both and have talked with people who have used both.

The w7 is made more for sq while getting decently loud. The 1508 is made more for spl while still retaining sq. There is a difference there and for the price the 1508 is always on top in my book...and most others.

and your so very welcome for me taking you serious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

With your avatar I was taking you seriously also //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

out perform takes it to which category?
I think overall W7 > DD1508

I believe the DD was getting 600 RMS from an alpine

In a neon

and the W7 was fed by either a 500/1v2 or 600.1 HD block. I really don't recall

In a Wrx 03
my point still stands. In your example two different cars were used and the dd was being under powered. Even though they are rated for less they prefer more.

DD needed more power dood^^

I know the W7 has 19mm xmax.. does the 1508 have 25mm? This is what I got from DD when I talked to them. Yes I realize xmax isn't everything. Just curious to see an 8 throw that much. My 8W7 looked like it was ready to jump out of the box already.
