Geeze.. never seen that. I personally avoid used speakers because of past bad experiences dealing with ppl on ebay. Id pay 150$ for a new 8W7 quick.

My buddy bought 4 8W7's Should be nice in his truck, When he gets a bit more $ and gets his comps amps and $ for box / install and wires, I'll do a build log for him

LOL because of the size?... wow.. I guess if the DD is louder then the W7 is just a waste of space? I will let you know what i think of the DD in comparison. I admit I loved my little 8W7. Was a great sub for 4 years.

Sweet, I want to see the buid log. I was looking at doing 4 ID 8's for a buddy but he ended up with 2- DD1508's.

I heard an 8w7 1.3 tuned to 40 hz and a dd1508 in the dd enclosure and I honestly couldn't tell the diff.

I've seen the DD hitting good numbers but guess I haven't really looked at what ppl are hitting with the 8W7. I trust what Louisiana CRX says though.

Can't really compare to completely different setups. Now if you took one vehicle and gave each sub the ideal box and wattage each likes and the dd should outperform the w7.

I think overall W7 > DD1508

I believe the DD was getting 600 RMS from an alpine

In a neon

and the W7 was fed by either a 500/1v2 or 600.1 HD block. I really don't recall

let them handle their business, if they were doing something wrongor displeased with sales, they would have dropped prices a long time ago

DD needed more power dood^^

Will have a JL 1000/1 V2 on the DD when installed.. the W7 couldn't take the power without bottoming out quickly. The small port and 33hz tune wasn't helping though.

Ive seen a pair of DD1508's hitting 147db with 2,500W. I am sure it had a high tune.
