DD1 and amp issue

So I was setting my 4 channel with my dd1 I got today. First there was a prior issue. The 1k track clipped at 39 on my pioneer. The 40 clipped at 30. That's a big difference. Not easy that's right? I found out where my unit clips. We setting the 4 channel for clipping and my car started to bog down and stall when I started adjusting the knob. Well, the result is a dead 4 channel. I'm scared to use the thing again.

An amp caused the car to bog down and quit??

Nah something else is going on. test the amp again. There might be ...back up there IS something wrong with your car leading you to think the amp is bad.

gotta be grounded to the amp ground. I swear I've seen vids where people hook both to the terminals. I think my radio is fuxked too. Turnimg into an expensive mistake.

I'm pretty in steves video demonstrating how to use it he puts both terminals :-/ I could be wrong
