Sold DD Z18 trade for termlab + $1,000

my buddy has a DD Z 18" like new he only ran it for less than an hour on a stetsom 11k2d anyway, he wants to trade me for my dual sensor 120v TL w/event promoter package + $1,000 does anyone think I should do it? he said I could pay him whenever I get the money... I figure I can always get another TL when I have money but I think he paid around $3,000 for the DD at our local dealer. pretty sure it was over 2 grand. I know I'll never get another one but I still wanna play with this beast. only problem is the economy is so down if I decided I wanted to get rid of it it really won't be going anywhere LOL... I texted him and told him I'd rather have his stetsom 11k2d //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif but I don't think he'll be interested in that one. for some reason he likes his DC level 5 18" better than the DD as it drops really low. I'm not interested in SPL, but I'd keep the TL anyway.

You can help people out with it, host shows and maybe make a dollar or two here and there...

you could keep your termlab and go buy a Incriminator audio Warden for a hair under a grand.. just an idea.

Buy a Warden and keep the TL. Or just keep the TL, do you HAVE an amp for a sub of that caliber anyway?

lol. missed all the replies, ended up bringing the TL to the comp but didn't sack up to trade as I want to hit a 150 on the current 2 15" setup before dropping outta sounds. gotta do a new box and charge my bunk batts again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif did worse than the last comp. sad.... thanks for the input. the part about the grand was I didn't have to pay til I had the money and could take home the Z...
