DD Z1 or AB 500.1 or Opti 6000????

Which amp i guess is Better? Which one would be better for a street beater/ Comp Vehicle? I dont know what subs will be hooked to it yet. Just a question in which u would rather have. If there is anything bad about anyone of these amps please post up what it is. Thanks for the help guys

DD Z1 gives out an ungodly amount of power but so do all those amps there, ever think of 2 SAZ3000ds strapped?

Out of those options... I'd probably go with the AB 500.1

The Z1 doesn't exactly have a great history of reliability.... and the Opti is the same board as the SoundStream 6500 which isn't very efficient off of a regular 12v system. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I thought the OPTI 4000 has the same board as the SS 6500 and the opti 6000 is the same as the SS 10000

I would personally choose the AB 500.1 for the sheer fact that they put out gobs of power, and can be dropped down really low.

They are very reliable. I was actually going to get one in the near future, but my finacial situation is not looking so great right now.

I have got an opti 6000d. It has never given me any problems. It has never really gotten hot or gone into protect.

Skip01 clamped one of his doing ,iirc, 47xx wrms at 1 ohm, on 11 volts, just to let you know.

yup they are quite reliable the AB 500.1s and loads of power ... clamped mine recently on 17volts .35ohms (1.1ohms after rise) and got over 8k out of one ...
