roughly how much is a recone kit like that for my 9917?

over 300 bucks if you have to buy a new basket/cone

w/o basket its 200

w/o cone its 150ish i think

Popsicle sticks for the surround.....
i thought DD recones were $89?

how do u do the surround with a popsicle stick?

the recone kit is 89 + 20 for the basket + 25 for glue kit + shipping = 180 ish for me

my old motor?

its a 9500b motor i got from pwuthedon

also 9900 recones are not to be done by a novice reconer send it in and its actually cheaper... just have to pay freight...

ya i was pretty surprised at how small the coil was when i took it out of that motor to ship it out. it handled lots of power though and got loud

run the Popsicle stick around the edge of the surround after you have applied the glue.
