DD or RE?

Hello all. I have a need for a couple subwoofers and a sub amp. Here are my choices so let me know which you think is the better deal. My main goals are bass but I would like good quality if I can get both obviously. See below for space limitations.

Option #1:

2 x DD 1512's

Rockford Fosgate T10001BD

2.2 Farad Cap

$250

Option #2

2 RE SRX 12's in a FoxBox ported

AudioBahn A2150HCT

$300

I drive an Toyota Sequoia and my subwoofer box dimensions are 33wx20lx20h so dimensions are a little bit limited.

Which option would you guys go with and are these good deals?

Absolutely.

1512 DD and the rf is 1000x1 at 1ohm

Rf has been measured at 1673 at 1 ohm.

for 250 ya not bad... box should be around 2-2.5 each tuned around the mid 30's... You can get something more exact from one of the designers here though

Man thanks alot. I just found out they are already in a ported enclosure made for a singlecab tuned at 32hz

You need to get a better box. Im guessing that one is to small. DDs need airspace unless they have the SC option
