DD or Hertz?

Which would you recommend for componant setups? I'm new to the whole sound quality and am still running a stock front stage. Which should I look into?

Probably Hertz, but the DD's are a little cheaper.

I'd do the hertz hsk series. Datboiroy might beable to help you out.

I'd pick up some HSK165's they run

They are great speakers, sound excellent, and can take gobs of power.

Do a search on Morel Tempo 6s as well. I've swapped out the HSK165s for my friends using these speakers and they are amazing.

You'd be surprised. They sound pretty darn good. I heard them in a shop around me not too long ago, i was impressed.

Hmmm...well I haven't heard them. And we all know the reputation their subs have so, I guess I just assumed they are only meant to be LOUD enough to hear over their sub lines.

DD has the new DD A Componet sets http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/dda.asp

We put a set in a customers Mustang and they are unreal, I can not compare them to the Hertz yet but maybe able to do a side by side in the next few days.

I think they are well worth the money, and the customer was very very very happy with them. He is now looking to go larger on the subs just cause the comps are so loud.

The DD high end components are pretty nice... They do the job with pretty good sound quality.
