you were definitely underpowering those subs

DD can take what ever your throw at em... you could strap 2 40.1's to each voicecoil and still be bangin like it aint no ones biznazz

Picked up the subs today. They had some saw dust on them but other than that they look great, I would rate them as 9/10 cosmetic.

I'm going to hook them up to 500WRMS in a 4ft3 sealed box to test them. I have a feeling they'll still be loud as ****!

After buying the subs I don't have the cash for a new amp. And I would really prefer not get a new one cause then I would need two more DD amps for my active three way setup... I'm really OCD about my setup, all like components have to have the same look or it bugs the hell out of me.

3-way active. I'd need a C4 & a C2.

Edit: Just got the subs installed in my old box and only one of my SQA-1 amps. Off 500W in a sealed box they are already amazing. I can't wait to get the 1400W I have on them and get them in some nice boxes. Thanks again for these ****ing awesome subs!
