Ok, so I was initally going for a set of type r`s, but alot of people said they are not good.
First let me explain what I`m looking for in a sub. I wan`t it to be loud, but also have some-what sound quality. I don`t just want loud crappy bass. I listen to alot of rap music. The car its going into is an 08 altima. Right now, I am leaning towards a custom built ported box, but if the subs don`t sound good in ported, I can get a sealed box.
So my two choices are the DD D612 or the RE SE 12`` subs. Any feedback I get is very helpful, as I am spending alot of money.
As for the amp, I have not yet decided. I am still looking into brands. Should I be looking cea-2006 compliant ampsÉ As most the amps people have (Cadence, Hifonics, etc) are not. If any of you have these subs, please tell me which amp you are using, and how much it cost you. I`m looking to spend up too $500 on an amp.
Oh and I am looking at getting 2 12`` subs (I am looking to spend up too $200 maybe 250 on a single sub, so if there are any better choices let me no)
