My DD9515E was making a poping noise and I just got it a montha and a half or two months ago, so I sent a e-mail to DD explaining my problem and this is what they sent me.

Please call us for your return information so that you can send woofer in.

The problems are I don't have their number,

They are in olklihoma, I am in Toronto Ontario, so man thats one expensive phone call.

Then I have to pay for the 50 pound speaker to be shiped there, they won't tell me if it's covered under warenty if it's not then I have to pay to fix it and then pay so they can ship it back.

so far this sucks, has anyone else had to deal with DD?

Been there, done that...twice. I won't touch anything DD anymore.

what happend with your products, did they fix them or charge you for them?

some more details would be great.

First experience: DD 9512...repaired...8 weeks. Ended up costing me over 185 bucks

Second experience: 3510...they quoted the recone at 100 bucks. I said the hell with it and sold it blown.

what was wrong with 9512?

they have some dumb storage fee now so if your repair takes longer then 2 weeks it's 10$ a day after that

you think calling from Ontario to Oklahoma is expensive? You should see my phone bills, calling from Seoul to Iowa, California, NYC, Florida, etc...

THank your lucky stars that you are neighbouring the US my friend...

Do they have an online site. WHat's the full name of this company? I want to try and stay away from them.

I got a broken 9012 off ebay for $200 after S&H. The guy said it was in awesome working and cosmetic condition. Now he changed/deleted his email address and doesn't use his eBay account anymore. So it looks like I'm stuck with it. Guess I'll have to have it fixed. Do you think it's worth it or should I sell it broken (and how much do you think I could get for it?)

The 9500 series is 1W=94db, max power 2500, 29mm x-max

The 9900 series is 1W=91 or 92DB, max power 3000, also has 30mm x-max

But every body knows that the max power on these subs are BS and are very under rated.

i can never understand which sub is better the 9500 or the 9900 series?
better is not the term..

louder, for pure SPL applications (i.e. fart cannons) would be the 9900 series, the 9500 series are used by some daily drivers.

And the 9900 series would be the most expensive that DD has to offer.
