I thought that Hifonics Subs licked ***. DD will own almost anything.

not if installed improperly....and whoever told you that hifonics sub's ****....they should think again

The Hifonics will circumsize the 3500......A better comparison would be a a pair of Dual brand subs in a bandpass.

all woofers are install dependant, but if installed correctly, the DD. another major aspect of purchasing a woofer, is build quality. DD makes a solid product. i couldnt blow a pair of 1000 series 10"s with 1100 watts. just couldnt do it, but with 1000 i could blow two treo ssi's, which is a beefy woofer, power handling and build. some things are just built better than others.
