DD at its extreme

So I got to experience one of the loudest systems I have ever seen it's in a 2006 volkswagen jetta i think he said he had two high output alternators at 260 amps each two 18" DDz subs on two DD m4a's both at .5ohm like 5 runs of 1/0 gauge wire he was using 4 gauge wire for subs with 8 gauge adapters for the amps two xs power D3100 batteries he had no idea how much he was putting out but holy **** nuggets it was insane. What do you think he was putting out?

He had the seats out cut out the front of the trunk out to fit the box in the box took up the whole trunk subs and port facing into the jetta dos that make since?

After amps and batteries it sounds really small. I would imagine it was not as loud as you thought/think it was.

It was loud..just not compared to a walled version which this should have been.

Or maybe it was louder than if it had been walled.... we couldn't possibly know now could we?

I just find that hard to believe, in my MK4 Jetta, I barley managed to fit 6.75 cubes in there, and there is no way my amp and battery could have fit in that trunk. I had those resting on where the back seats used to be. That sounds wayyy too small to be packing two DDZ 18's in there. But I'm no expert, so I could be wrong.

I heard about this car maybe being built back when i was at AQ/DD(or maybe it was the exact same setup..but different person), but last I heard he nixed the idea do to a lack of space. Guess he went with it.

I'm going to guess they were 15's and not 18's. Even cutting out the trunk openning, two 18's aren't going to mount there. There wouldn't be enough height.
