DD 9915c in a small ported box?

I might be geting my hands on a soon to be rebuilt 9915c. The sub will be paired up with an xx-cyclops rated 4kw, lots of daily use.

Only problem is my box is 3 cubs @ 33hz, slot ported. Does this DD have a chance to sound good in such a small ported box?? I recall these being mostly big ported box optimal....
