DD 9912g vs. RE MX 12"

I was thinking about buying a DD 9512g, but I already have an RE MX.... But since they were the same wattage (I'll be running @ 1600 for MX and 1800 for the 9512), I was wondering what the difference between the two would be in terms of SQ and loudness.

I'm guessing the 9512g would be louder, but less SQ.

Any thoughts?

dd should in theory be louder, although that sub will shine with 2 - 2.5kW.

as far as "sq". That sq differance would be MINIMAL, if any, between the 2 subs if the given boxes they are in are build solid and to specs. Ive had a 4hp with a spl paper cone (not geared towards sq whatso ever and sounded like *** in a fartbox) sound just as good as the old style xxx in a box built specifically for SQL. Couldnt tell a differance SQ wise. Make sure your signal doesnt clip and you should be fine. I'd go with the DD.
