DD 9518g upgrades?

It's the tightest moving assembly I've ever felt. I can't imagine them failing due to mechanical issues on any amount of power before having a thermal problem.
 
Make sure all your connections are good. That sounds awful
Just me pushing the limits. I sat there and watched the volts drop. But took it to a shop that build alts and he showed me how when the bass dropped my pulley was jumping. So I replaced it and now I don't have that problem

So your belt was slipping under load?

 
Slipping? Yep. Now I wonder how the sx would sound with upgrades. As of now the and sub is in my as a tv stand. In a new apartment and I don't have an alarm "yet"
