DD 9515g vs 12" solo x vs. TREO SSX 15

The treo will sound alot better, as long as you don't get the dual 1's, we have never got those to sound as good as the dual 2's at the shop?

FYI to all peeps DD10-9500s are all sql subs, NOT spl sub.DD only sub gears directly to spl is the 99z.The solo wont sound nearly as good as the 95 or SSX,so I would do what ever I could get my hand on cheaper and if money is a proplem get a 95 with composite cone,even bigger power handling compare to DD thin paper cones and much improved sq.

TypeRBass's system sounded A-FUCKING-MAZING.. dropped SO low & sounded SO good.. & he had 4 9515's..

Definitely impressive SQ, IMO.. not tha most amazing in tha world, but for what it is.. jesus.

I've heard many other 9500 systems & they've all retained quite a bit of SQ.

Glad you can hear the difference, pretty sure that myth was disproved some time ago:wow: . Honestly you should just leave the Kicker out, it is wayy out of its league. The SSX and 9515 are both great subs but honeslty, both in there Ideal enclosures, the SSX just has a bit more all around and that is a lot more noticeable than the difference between 1 and 2 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . They are both SQL drivers, Treo is a lot cleaner at any power level, DD gets kinda noisy and the SQ degrades as you add power. Polo..

i have owned dd and solo x and always wanted a treo. the as far as spl i think the dd and the solo x would be the closest. with the dd probably winning out. if you said a dd 9512 and a solo x 12 i would pick the solo x 12 due to cone area. both subs have proven themsevles very well in the lower street classes of db drag *(street a - c) as far as daily goes, the kicker wont like 3000 rms daily, now dispite what other people say. as far as my owning of a few 9515D series drivers, dd wont like 3000 watts daily. but will probably do better then the kicker. the kicker has a smaller coil. which would help for spl because its lighter. i think as far as power handling goes the treo would be the best. but the treo would be the worst for spl with 3000 watts. the ssx is deffently a sql sub. thats why treo made the csx.

There has been a big improvement since the D motor as far as cooling/ power handling,D motor have their advantages as well

I have not owned the treo,but have freinds that have used them,Not saying anything but those who owned the treo now have 2500s or 9500s.Kicker power rating are stated for spl purpose I guess,not daily.

Now my self between the Treo and DD,I would take what ever I got cheaper.If both were aviable at the same price I would take the DD.The only thing I can complain about the DDs subs is that they have harse roll off,to me anyway.I now own a DD 18 with composite cone and woundnt trade it for any,honestly 55+hz is night and day compared to the DD paper cones.

Now if u can fit 2 12s or 15s,I would shoot for the DD 2500s,All my boys,ranging for Fi BTLs,DDs,Atomics,kicker,Soundsteams etc,None of us have been on the meter,but by hear is it clear than his 2 15" 2500s on a Powerbass 3000d are louderer and sound much betterthan all of us,Maybe not as much sq as me:veryhapp:.I just need mo powa.

i love DD and yes man its hit hard and i love the bass it makes low and tight clean bass...i play techno and it even can play that well so i am sold for life
