one of my coils still worked, and it lasted .5 seconds int hew all socket, kinda dissapointing. even the 9510 lasted a while with 1 coil, dd soft parts FTW

the sub really isn't going to work properly, as the RE voice coil is probably different to the DD one, so its not in the magnetic field properly... oh well...

When people say their subs are reconed with MT softparts, it's just that... similar soft parts to what the MT uses... NOT an actual MT recone. The woofer would not function...

yah before it was something to maybe consider reconing a dd with re softparts but now its not even worht it with recone kits costing around $90 (dont qoute me) straight from DD. dunno if their out yet to the general public.
