You can wire both to 1 ohm and strap the amps at 1 ohm. Might not be a good idea, but I've seen those orion 2500Ds ran at 0.5 ohm daily.

man imma tell ya, its a massive box in a small place.. JLFX (local guy and member here) built half at a time and basically constructed it in tha trunk, then sealed trunk off..in a trunk wall fashion.. I was thinkin about metering my setup on 2 2500Ds.. a local guy/friend has 3 of em and a meter.. it will just be hard matching the amps since they cant be strapped..

i run my MTXs at .5ohm daily each... they share a 1ohm load, and barely ever get warm, only after full tilt for a long time.. gains are MAYBE 1/4 way up and HU settings are -10 and still burped out 145.8db at the dash
